3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your user account and dashboard.

  • To comply with applicable laws and enforce our terms.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing required to provide the Service you requested (e.g., running audits, managing your account).

  • Legal obligation: Complying with applicable laws and responding to lawful requests.
  • Consent: Where we rely on consent (e.g., optional marketing communications), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who process it on our behalf (e.g., Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Hostinger for hosting). These parties are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only process data as instructed.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LocReady, its users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following types of storage technologies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for authentication and session management. Cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality.

  • Analytics (if applicable): If we use analytics tools in the future, we will update this section and provide opt-out options.

You can clear cookies and local storage data through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will reset your usage counters and sign you out of your account.
